Schedule a Meeting with your Legislator

Now is an ideal time to request a meeting with your legislators to ask them to support intercity passenger rail. The legislative session begins on February 19, but legislators are already holding meetings with constituents.
We are asking rail supporters to talk with legislators about HF3176 / SF 2887. These bills direct the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to submit two applications under the Federal Corridor Identification and Development Program.
Legislators are eager to meet with constituents. Meetings are typically short and can be held on Zoom, so you don’t need to leave your house. Legislators will be interested in why you ride and support expanded passenger rail in Minnesota, and why you want the legislators to support the bill to study additional rail corridors.

If you don’t have time for a meeting, then call or email your legislators: ask them to support the bills, tell them why you care, and provide your contact information.
